how far in advance should i book my venue? I really want to have my party at a local hotel ballroom, but my dad is worried about how much people will be showing up. Comming to think of the list, there isn't that much people comming, but i want a lot of people to come. I will be calling people who don't rsvp for the party 2-3 weeks from the party date. Should it be 2 weeks or the week of the party?! But i don't knwo when to book my venue...three weeks prior to the party? or three months prior to the party?! please help me! thank you :)

Months most definality. You'd be surprised how many things go on, on the same days.My cousin's friend is having a party the same day me (but they in georgia) You have to get the space before someone beats it to you. And you have to give your vuene proper time to prepare too. hope that helps
