what are good theme colors? i have a theme, but EVERYONE does the same one.

Any colors that really complment each other or make a striking contrast. It entirely depends on how dressy it is. For a formal occasion deep jewel tones or black and white work well. Een if the latter is a little overdone. For a brighter happyier more informal occasion something like pale purple, yellow and pink would work well. Just think about the kind of mood you want to strike and stick to two or three colors.
