Family help??? Ok, my parents are pretty strict so I was soooo shocked when they let me throw this huge party. Now, I feel that they are basically taking over the whole party! It's supposed to be KayCey's party. My mom already had hers. I asked for a new car- I get my dad's. I ask for it to be in somewhere on the strip- I get it at the Luxor. This is not how I planned it. I wanted it to be a New York City theme... my parents and I are still debating that or L.A.. I say L.A. is too common. My parents said that it would be easier that way, considering L.A. is full of celebrities. HELLO!? DONALD TRUMP LIVES IN NYC, THEY HAVE A LOT OF CASH THERE. KAYCEY LIKES CASH. How do I tell my parents to back off? I mean, the deal is they have to help somewhat. But, my little sisters are getting way too involved in it, too. At first, I wanted just people from mys chool. But my little sisters blabbed to their friends, now my littel sisters are invited, my little cousins and my little sisters' friends. Yay. The guestlist was only 200 of my friends- now it's 300. 1/2 of which aren't even my friends- but relatives and friends of my sisters! how do i tell them this is my party and take control of the reigns?

That does suck that they are taking over your party, you should be able to make some of the decisions but you should also listen to what your parents have to say. If you are not happy just tell them you dont want the party to happen anymore. As for the car a car is a car when I turned 16 I got a birthday cake, lol. Now Im 22 I dont even celebrate my birthdays anymore. I bought my own car myself from working. It does give alot more pleasure when you can be dependent and buy your own things.
