Not all of us are stuck-up, not all of us have ugly personalities, and not all of us get everything handed to us. I'm raised by a military father, a strict mother, and Air Force/government agent grandparents. I don't get away with anything and I definately don't act like a brat. I work and my party has a serious budget. So not all of the generation is so awful. I agree with what you said up until the point when you started to generalize all of the generation. I want to be succesful and I know nothing will be handed to me, but nothing is handed to me now. Some of the blame also lies with the parents too though, because they hand everything to their children, they raise them. My parents have raised me to stand on my own two feet and work hard for everything. I have never and will never treat my parents like the people on the show do. I value my friends and family, and treat people with respect. I ran in the Race For the Cure, I went to hospitals to visit lung cancer patients, and I helped take care of people in a nursing home, because I know what it is like to lose someone to cancer. I am a straight A student and I am involved in a lot of in-school organizations and extra-curricular activities. My friends are not stuck-up either and they value what they have. Do not go generalizing an entire large group of people when you don't know who all is out there.

That's quite the generalization.
I feel your frustration, but I think you should be more eloquent and precise when making your point if you want others to agree with you and those you are criticizing to stop and think about their actions. Telling a teenager to stop growing up? Eh. All of you are still babies? Though we are young, I don't think we're babies. We have more learning and growing to do, yes. Perhaps in the future kiddies will change and see the error of their ways.
My generation is not superficial just because a couple kids are. There are people like that for every generation. I don't appreciate being grouped together with people who are nothing like me.
And of course we're all going to die. How silly to think we wouldn't. Death is part of life I hear.
